Managing Peer Relationships

  • Help the youth develop narrative about their illness
    – Gives them a way of managing questions
  • Role-play to prepare for interactions
  • Encourage limits in amount of information shared
    – Full story to 2-3 best friends
    – Partial story to 3-4 more
    – General story to everyone else
