Supervision and Consultation

We offer two modalities of specialized supervision and consultation for mental health professionals working with patients diagnosed with psychogenic nonepileptic seizures (PNES). Both individual supervision and monthly consultation groups are designed to strengthen clinical skills, provide ongoing support, and foster professional development.

  • Strategies for addressing common challenges such as school/work reintegration, safety considerations and seizure action plans
  • Support in implementing psychological interventions for adults, including cognitive-behavioral approaches, prolonged exposure and a newer PsychoEd for PNES intervention
  • Support in implementing psychological interventions for pediatrics, including cognitive-behavioral approaches and integrative models for PNES
  • Help navigating interdisciplinary communication with neurologists, psychiatrists, pediatricians, and other providers

Monthly Group Consultation for Clinicians Working with Psychogenic Nonepileptic Seizures (PNES)

Target audience: This is a small-group consultation series designed for mental health and medical professionals who want to deepen their understanding of PNES and strengthen their clinical skills.

  • Monthly virtual group sessions (90 minutes)
